<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">New York Knicks: 40 wins. That?s what the Knicks should win without much improvement from the players, that should be enough for Isiah Thomas to say the team is better, but the playoffs may be the only thing that saves his job. Two fundamental things have to be resolved in training camp ? Eddy Curry has to live up to the paycheck, and one of the overpaid small forwards has to stay healthy. The Knicks have a ton of talent, the question is can they all stop being impressed at being Knicks, and start getting hungry for the playoffs. Nate Robinson should get a ton of minutes under Thomas, and Stephon Marbury will likely play off the ball more. Look for the Knicks to be a free flowing team, and when the guys realize they can out run teams, they may win more than 40 games. </div>

you know what...the article is speaking the truth as far as talent goes. Knicks definitely do have the talent. Whether or not they mesh well as a team is up to Isiah, and personally I think he can get this team to 40 wins.....

However, if this team ever wants to be a playoff team, they gotta make some transactions.

Yeah, everybody knows this team has the potential to win 40 games, with the talent they have, but they also know they haven't shown it the past couple of years. But with Isiah Thomas, something's got to improve, right?

No question about their talent... Marbury and Francis says it all. The question is, if they can play as a TEAM? 40 wins will be tough, but they are capable, and that will answer the question. But with more talent on the backcourt than the frontline, they would go as far as the 1st round. Isaiah has to make some changes, and has to get past his idea of winning with just guards.[IMG]

I really think the Knicks can make a play-off run. But they'll have to play as a team for one. But if they can make all the talent work together, this could be a surprise team.
