    AV said at the press conference that right now Staal is being treated for "neck issues" and a concussion has not been confirmed. Remember, he also took an awkward hit earlier in the game. Maybe just has some significant tightness in that area.

    Obviously early on, but better than what I was expecting to hear.

    I'm wondering if a concussion symptom would be evident that quickly to force you to leave immediately or if it was the neck.

    We don't know yet. We need to wait a day or two and see where we are at with Staal. Until then we are jumping the gun with him. I know we all assume the worst, but we'll see. He got up, skated off, was fired up, so he had his sense about him, which is a plus.

    We'll see...
