Let me start this by stating that being a cardinals fan for as long as I have been I am not sold in the latest push by the cardinals winning 3 of there last 4. However I do feel that the cardinals need to be recognized for there recent play. Over the last 3 games (winning 3 of the last 4) they have averaged 29 points per contest and have defeated the former NFC champion in the process. Futhermore with a win against Denver next week coupled with a Rams and SF loss the Cardinals move into a 3 way tie for second in the division. Not bad for a team who at one point lost 8 straight. And if you look at the shoulda coulda woulda games that the cardinals managed to lose (Rams, Chiefs, and Bears) we would be sitting pretty at 7-6 with our playoff hopes very much alive. But we are not. What we do have is a winning record verse divison teams (3-2) and quite possibly one of the best QB and WR cores in the country not to mention an all pro RB in Edge who had his first back to back 100+ yard games of the year. The much maligned O-line has finally galvanized together alowing just 3 sacks in the last 4 games and zero against a pretty good Seahawks Defense. Being a Cardinals fan I cannot believe I am going to end this by saying what Im about to say because it has been our chant every year to no avail but... I think next year is going to be the year.
Im not sure if this recent string of success is really a good thing though as it might be just enough to save Denny Green's job and it's probably in the Cardinals best interest to get rid of him. Not to mention Joe Thomas would have looked good in a Cardinals Uniform.

I think to change any program with a losing mentality it takes more then 3 years. Look back over the our history, how many times has changing a head coach helped...0. Let the players get used to Denny with the new OC, it seems to be working. Also I agree that Joe Tomas would be nice in a Cardinals uniform but there are plenty of players out there who have proven themselves in the NFL to spend the money on. The bigger problem is the Bidwells refusal last year to spend the 10 million they had to help solidify the offensive line or improve the defense.
.....Maybe it's because I've never thought much about Denny Green to begin with, other then that he managed to find the right place at the right time in Minnesota with Great QBs like Moon/Cunningham/Culpepper and Great WRs like Carter/Moss/Reed with one of the most underrated RB's of all time in Robert Smith to give him the reputation of being this 'offensive guru' when the reality is he just had great players....I do agree with you though that until their front office makes a committed effort to acquire some Offensive Lineman and some pieces to their defense that they won't make a significant improvement.
And he has the opportunity again with Fitz and Boldin, Edge in the backfield and a young talent QB in Leinart. I just think that switching Head Coaches at this point starts us back at the begining instead of where we are
