Yes people have hope in the mighty Wiz
He gives a pretty good explanation on why he thinks so, and this means their are actually people who believe.

Wow..I thought I was the only one who thought that..We have a great chance to win..We have Gily who is better than Wadew right now..only think Miami has better than us is Shaq so if we can play team ball and stay healthy we should be first...

I love John Hollinger - he knows what he's talking about. And I do like the changes the Wiz have made. But I just can't believe it. I will when I see it.

Don't worry. Shaq will be guaranteed to miss at least 20 games where the Heat will falter. If the Wizards can keep their form up and take advantage of the fall, they might have a chance to go down the wire with Miami for the division title. But given the team's long history of underachieveing, I wouldn't be surprised either if the Wizards don't even make the playoffs.

Finally, at least I know I'm not crazy. If I can dominate NBA Live with them online (PS2, currently ranked in the top 100) then I know we must have the talent to compete when healthy.

Certainly, the Wizards are going to do much better this upcoming season.

I like the youth on this team & the chemistry it should have, not only do we have the same young core of players from last year (who should be alot wiser & more comfortable in the offensive system now) but the other starter we added has already played with everyone on the starting lineup except kwame. Anthony Peeler was running with a similar offense last year so he should fit in perfect. I'm not worried about Miami, they're going to be slow running the floor & will be learning a new offense. Barring any injuries, we are about to see an exciting, young Washington team, similar to Sacto in 98-99.

i think the wizards have alegitimate chance to do well next year.

Especially with kwme on the rise and the team chemistry growing with every game.
I think the wiz have anice core group.

Washington might make the playoffs and will win atleast 38 games (barring injuries) but no way they top Miami...they have a nice young nucleus in Brown, Arenas and Jamison, and I expect Dixon to have a breakout year....but they wont win their division....

They will win it if Shaq goes down with injury, which is a big chance because every little thing hurts him...

Good point..Dwyane had some injuries is rookie season, and whats to say that that wont hold him down..but on the other side..so did Arenas and Hughes for the Wizards...two key pieces this year...we can only take it one game at a time.
