I realize it's the preseason but you would like to see better than 1-5 and being outscored 22-9.

0 to be concerned about during pre-season. Zero.

On the bright side Miller looks like he's emerging and will be on the roster. If he supplement some scoring that CK may not be ready to provide that would be a big boost.

They basically played kids almost all pre-season. Stepan, Hagelin and Cally didn't play who are three of the teams top 5 forwards. What is amazing is that our new coach expect a team full of kids to dominate. He's delusional.

AV played the kids this preseason to gauge what kind of talent pool he has to work with, that accompanied with the injuries and stepan not being signed played a roll in his decisions. Im not putting too much into the teams poor performance, our defensive corp is as solid as they come top 4, i wouldnt mind trading pyatt and boyle for an above average 5-6 dman. I do believe this organization needs to start using these prospects more, like some of the other teams in the league. Have to let the kids play and work it out on the ice, its the only way. How much seasoning do some of them need in the minors? Krieder and Miller should be starting with the big club but im sure one of them is going to be sent down because of the boulders known as pyatt and boyle, this team is flooded at the center position.

Miller to me played a lot better than Kreider. I said from day one that Kreider should have been more productive in college. I do think Torts screwed him over the second time he was called up. However, the kid just doesn't understand what to do with his talent. He is must faster and stronger than just about every player in the league. If the moron would drive the net like he did with that OT winner in the playoffs vs. Boston on a consistent basis, he would be a 20-20 guy in his sleep even if he didn't play on the PP.

I seriously hope we don't have another Grachev on our hands. A ton of talent with a 5 cent brain on what to do with it.

Agree dump, that would suck bigtime if Kreider doesn't figure it out.

A "new system" is just a guise for this organization. These players are professionals.
They know what is expected from them. They better come out of the gate with
one thing in mind........score more goals than the opposition.....and WIN!
