At a press conference on Monday to announce their May 21st bout in Montreal, WBC light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal and 46-year-old Bernard Hopkins got into a shoving match after Pascal demanded that Hopkins “Take the test” for performance enhancing drugs [PEDS]. Hopkins reacted angrily, shoving Pascal hard when the Canadian based fighter got to close to Hopkins while asking him to take the test. A short while later, Pascal appeared to slap Hopkins in the face and the two fighters came close to trading blows if not for the two fighters being separated by Security personnel. It seemed like a big fuss over nothing. Hopkins hardly looked like a fighter on PEDs in their fight last year in December.
