<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The biggest knock on him, Green said, is that he doesn't have an NBA-type body. Green said he needs to bulk up from 200 pounds before the season. "It makes it very difficult to try to project exactly how long it's going to take for these guys to get out on the floor without being such a negative," Bristow said. With holes at point guard and small forward, the Hornets are likely to pass on Green. "He's probably a year or so away," Scott said. "We are looking for immediate help." Green also has worked out for Portland and Charlotte. Those were also solo workouts, something that has drawn criticism from several NBA teams. "My adviser suggested that would be best for me," Green said. "If I work out with other people, I might get injured, and you don't want to risk an injury. If it was up to me, I would work with anybody." The Hornets would prefer to work the top players at each position against one another. "Individual workouts bother me," Scott said. "It sends a signal to us that they don't like competition." But the Hornets did get a taste of Green's competitiveness. Green and strength coach Jack Manson played several games of two-on-two against Scott and assistant coach Kenny Gattison. The former NBA players won all the games except the final one. "We can't keep up with those young guys," Scott joked. Of the players the Hornets have seen, the front-runners for the No. 4 pick are Oklahoma State's Joey Graham, North Carolina's Raymond Felton, Illinois guard Deron Williams, New Mexico and former Grace King High School standout Danny Granger and Green, Bristow said. The Hornets are scheduled to work out six more players -- including Wake Forest guard Chris Paul -- this week, Scott said. "I'm not so sure that the guy we are going to pick has come through here," Bristow said. </div> Source
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post"> Source </div> Joey Graham at #4?? I could possibly see him slipping into the lottery, and i suppose its possible for him to move into the top 10 to Golden State....but #4 sounds a bit ambitious for him at this point.
