The formal annoucement of Gary Chouest as the new majority owner of the New Orleans Hornets has once again been delayed because of Chouest's involvement in the search for a new head coach, as well as the logistics of meshing the necessary schedules involved in holding a press conference, team spokesman Harold Kaufman said Wednesday.

It will be sometime next week before Chouest is officially introduced as the team's owner.

Chouest, along with team president Hugh Weber and general manager Jeff Bower, spent Tuesday in Dallas interviewing Avery Johnson and Dwane Casey for the head coaching vacancy. The trio is expected to continue their inquiries in the coming days.
