After signing Morris Peterson, it appears the Hornets will no longer make a push to re-sign small forward Desmond Mason, who wants a salary beyond $8 million. The likely scenario is a sign-and-trade deal.

The Hornets are still interested in re-signing backup point guard Jannero Pargo, and negotiations continue between his agent, Mark Bartelstein, and Bower.

The Hornets can offer a three-year deal to Pargo that would not put them above the cap. Discussions, however, remain stalled involving Hornets free agent Devin Brown.

With the addition of Peterson, the Hornets still have up to three roster spots to fill.

Where do you think he will go?

No idea on where he would go, but the Hornets better do a sign and trade, they could get something useful instead of nothing.

They moved to slow for a S&T, market is pretty much closed for swingmen.
