Robert Horry, is he Hall of Fame material? He has 6 rings, but has never averaged more than 12 points a game in any of his seasons. He wouldnt be considered a "superstar" by no means, but its not like he was the 12th man on the bench for any of those Championship seasons either. I'm not too sure either way. What do you guys think?
Always played on great teams, came off the bench rested, and hit clutch shots when nobody was covering him, no way he deserves to go to the HOF.
He has played with the best and made some great shots in the playoffs but by himself he is not HOF worthy. He is one of the best clutch performers, but not at the level of HOF.

Come on, the HOF is for the best of the best and Horry fed off of HOF talent his whole career and was an average player.

IMO he's no where close to being a HOF. He's a great role player and clutch shooter, but he has been on great teams and hasn't done that much during his career. He's only a role player and will always be one

The only thing he ever had going for him was his clutchiness, and it's not even that good. Actually, for how many game winners he missed, he kinda sucks. No way is he gonna be a Hall of Famer
1. Played with great players so he was left open late in games. 2. Came in late in the fourth with fresh legs. 3. Only got into the finals because of his great teams (was only an average player).
No way. Its great that he got the rings to make his NBA career look successful, but the whole time he was just along for the ride. Not HOF material at all, but he has made some very memorable shots that would remind you of some HOFs.
I'm sure a 12 ppg scorer is going to get in,even if he has 20 rings I highly doubt he will enter,I don't think lifetime career bench warmers deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.Even if he would to come off the bench,he has to have at least decent stats.

I don't know how you could even say that.Maybe he's not worthy of being in the HOF...but he definately deserves consideration. He was on 6 championship teams, which wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that he was a big part of each of those teams. If he was the 10th guy off the bench, I would agree with you, but he is known as "Big Shot Bob" for a reason. He's definately worthy...but if Don Nelson can't get in, neither should Horry.
No. In his career, he averages 7.4 PPG, and 5 RPG. In his playoff career, he averages 9 and 6. Come on now, those are mediocre stats at best. Yes he has hit many clutch shots, but what people fail to realize about him is that his shot selection is just horrid. If he played a little better and stopped hanging around the three point line, his teammates might not even need the last second jumper. He is as overrated as they come, and shouldn't get one HOF ballot
No way. He has a career ppg avgerage of 7.4. That is no way near HOF worthy. I dont care how many Championships he won. He wasn't a big part for any of them. Sure, he was clutch sometimes. Who cares? That does not mean he will make the Hall. Players have to dominate and post great statistics as well to make the HOF. Did Horry do that? No.
