<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Eddie House is on the Celtics radar as the team tries to fill out a roster depleted by their 5-for-1 trade for Kevin Garnett. The Boston Herald, noting the Celts' luxury tax issues, reported that the team is looking for low-cost backups like House, Troy Hudson and Brevin Knight at guard and Dikembe Mutombo, Michael Ruffin and P.J. The Nets are continuing to deal with House but are not expected to move on their final roster spots til later this month.</div> <a href="http://celtics.bostonherald.com/celtics/view.bg?articleid=1014584" target="_blank"> Source</a>
House gone <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After their mega-deal for Kevin Garnett, the Celtics had some holes to fill on their roster. And they acted quickly, signing Nets' free agent Eddie House on Wednesday. The Nets have reportedly had interest in several backup point guards, including Jannero Pargo, Keith McLeod and, most recently, Roger Mason.</div> Source
If this is true, then I think the Nets should have a go at Pargo. He's basically a lesser version of House anyway.

Besides, last I heard, Pargo was negotiating a contract with a team in Europe (Real Madrid or Maccabi Tel Aviv, maybe?). EDIT: It's actually Olympiacos BC. They also just inked Lawrence Roberts (Grizzlies), Qyntel Woods (Blazers/Knicks), and Ian Vouyoukas (St. Louis University), and they're close to reaching an agreement with Keith McLeod (Jazz/Pacers), as well. They've got a really good handle on the the American market.
God damnit! I loved House! Now our bench is getting thinner and thinner while the Celtics are having one hell of an off season.
