<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Eddie House was on the Nets bench watching as Vince Carter got two quick fouls. He figured Boki Nachbar would get the call. But Nachbar was in the locker room doing what players with the flu do. So the call came for House. "I didn't know he was out," House said. "I wasn't paying attention. Then Vince gets two quick fouls and here I come. Somebody had to give it to them tonight." House stepped up when we needed him. What more can you say? We needed offense, and he provided it the way he knows how to. With Nachbar out, he understood the burden was on him, and he needed to take it head on. He did what was needed, and you can't ask for more.
