Molly Riordan said.The first forged check for $2,900 was dated April 31, 2005, court documents show. Twelve of the checks were for $17,000 each, including the last one she deposited. That check was dated March 26, three days after Azumah announced his retirement.Azumah, a Pro Bowl kick returner in 2003, was drafted in the fifth round of the 1999 draft. He spent his entire seven-year career with the Bears. I was a good friend with Azumah, we lived very close to each other and I played him in H.S he ended up going to the University of New Hampshire, one of the schools I was going to go to.
