Houston could be as close as two weeks away from suiting up.

Houston has yet to practice with the club, working out on his own, and said he'll only have to participate in portions of practice.

"Hopefully next week my plan is to start easing into practice," Houston told The Post last night before the Knicks lost to the Mavericks. "I'll start off doing some non-contact stuff, ease into it and go from there."

The Knicks' next scheduled practice is Monday. After Houston feels comfortable in non-contact drills, and he can't pinpoint how many practices that will take, he will begin to scrimmage. When he begins scrimmaging, Houston, whose jump-shooting the Knicks miss, said he believes he'll be a week away from making his season debut.

"It's a big step for me," said Houston, who's been rehabbing his left side. "I'm excited."</div>

YES!!! Many months have past and finally he is ready. Allan Houston has been greatly missed. I have heard things like Allan Houston might not be back recovered 100%. I also heard he lost a lot of lift on his jumpshot shot which is a valuable loss for a shooter. I still am very happy about him coming back. I know that Tribute will be happy that his boy H2O is back!

I was able to copy this quote from the article. I just pressed ctrl+c and copied it. It wouldn't let me right click so I guess I tricked it.

[IMG] Finally!!! Houston's return is not too far off. I came onto the forum looking to start up a thread and lo and behold I run across this...Estatic is a pretty strong word...but not strong enough. I am beside myself with joy. I have a huge smile on my face  I cant wait until he starts playing. This is good news indeed! Hopefully he returns to 2002-2003 form or something near it [IMG]
