Center: Yao Ming = Rik Smith
Power Forward: ? = Antonio Davis, Dale Davis
Small Forward: Tracy MacGrady = Jalen Rose
Shooting Guard: ? = Reggie Miller
Point Guard: ? = Travis Best.

Right now, the Houston Rocket is missing lots of player to go into deep playoffs.

Yao is sort of similar to Rik Smits. Other than that, I don't see the connection.

Yao is 7'5. Rik Smits is 7'4. They're both soft shooter, skilled players, but tire very quickly. Yao is just little bit strong than Smits. In my opinion, the Rockets should have players similar to the 90s Pacers to be a strong team.

Center: Yao Ming = Rik Smith (dominated inside as soft shooter)
Power Forward: ? = Antonio Davis, Dale Davis (defended, rebounded, and dunked if Rik Smith missed his shots)
Small Forward: Tracy MacGrady = Jalen Rose (on attack mode to relief pressure if Rik Smith didn't have a good day)
Shooting Guard: ? = Reggie Miller ( consistant 3 points threat)
Point Guard: ? = Travis Best ( can pass, shoot, and penetrate inside out)

if the Rockets have similar players as 90s Pacers, they can dominate inside-out and do fast break just like Jalen Rose, Reggie Miller, and Travis Best did in
    Indiana.
