It's a no-lose for us, but even if I wanted Houston to win, Utah's gonna kick their asses. Plus, fuck the sprockets.
Even though I hate the douchebag Rockets and their even douchier fans, I want them to beat the Jazz tonight. UTA is a legitimate challenger to us for playoff seeding. HOU is not. They re in a free fall and will likely drop to the 9th seed and stay there - especially after we beat them on Thursday. So, HOU winning tonight moves us further ahead of the Jazz and that's a good thing. BNM
I tend to agree with this. Not an easy question and I have been going back and forth on it. My question is will Houston plays better on Thursday if they are coming off a win........ or a loss? And I think most teams play better/harder coming off a loss. So my vote is for Houston to win.
They would be smart at this point to tank for the pick. They won't do that though because they are under the illusion that they can get to WCF or better from the 8th seed.
I don't want the Rockets to believe they have a chance. I want them ashamed, astounded, and astonished; bewildered, befuddled, and bemused; confused, concerned, and confounded; dejected, deflated, and devastated; flustered, frustrated, and fatigued...(you get the picture).
Did you memorize those? Nice! Although, in his alliteration, he used a new one for the letter A either in the GS game, or the Utah game... but the fact that whenever he uses them, it means we're doing good... so that's all that matters!!
Oh no, I'm not that good. I googled and came upon an interview in which he had listed several. Someone really should come up with a comprehensive list of his alliterations though.
Wait, was that the one that we did (South East, TBPup, and to a much lesser extent, me... All I did was call him and connect the call lol)?
This. Also, we get Houston on Thursday and I'd love for them to come into our building with a loss already under their belts.
