Defensive tackle Chris Hovan, who was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in April, agreed to terms with the St. Louis Rams on Wednesday, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Hovan, a 10-year veteran, was the 25th overall selection in the 2000 draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He signed with the Buccaneers in 2005 and made an immediate impact on the team's run defense. He signed a five-year, $17.5 million extension in 2006. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5267059
