cavs fan here jsut wondering how the davis addition is working out for u so far. he was a good scorer for us but a hot head and had a much bigger ego than his game could back up. We hated to lose mihm he was really starting to hit his stride.. and he can help u guys. we love williams game and battie's defense so far has been nice. hope the trade helped both sides out . it really helped our defense and lebron is turning it up now.

i love the aquisition but hate what we lost. Antione and Peirce were serious. i can only imagine antoine, Pierce, and Davis. But Pierce and Rick already have a relationship from summers so i think they will do great together. When you understand a player and there game the skys the limit. and thats the alley from paul to Ricky.

As for his performance so far, he hasn't settled in yet, so I'm sure he'll be able to turn things around and make those timely shots he's been missing (last night). I don't like having to trade Williams for him, I think that was a mistake. Everyone knows role players like him are very valuable to teams. So why are they always trade bait?

Ricky is a good fit for the Celtics. Pierce liking him, as Startellis said, is a good thing. Only time will tell, though, if his style of play will fit in and if he'll put forth more effort than he did with the Cavs.

    Nice sig...

Ricky Davis realizes he can't take all the shots anymore and Paul Pierce is the LEADER of the team. He has to follow Pierce now, not lead.

Ricky is a good player, when the season moves on I think he'll get better and get is ppg back up.

Ricky still hasn't gotten really involved in the offense yet, most of his points have come through transition. But I think when he learns the offense he along with Jiri and Vin can be great supporting players to Pierce.

Not a game has gone by without a Pierce to Davis highlight.
    These guys play great together.
I don't know why O'Brien hasn't figured that out yet.

Easy, the Cavs were thinking "win now"

As for the Celtics, they have not been playing all that bad. I have to give credit to Jiri Welsch though, he has played some good basketball in my book.

Cavaliers @ Celtics January 9th people!

I like the fact that Welsch has stepped up and shown his potential, but Davis probably doesn't. I think finding him more minutes off the bench behind Welsch should be one of OBrien's top priorities. Davis can be a potential 6th man award candidate.

I think you are right on, when you said Davis has a chance to be a sixth man candidate. I was at the Celtic vs Warriors Game tonight in Oakland, Davis showed some nice moves and almost had a double double. As Davis gets more comfortable in the offense i think the points will start come a lot easier.
