Much easier than going to Istanbul. I'm flying from birmingham airport to Zante then on a ferry for 1 hour then bus for 4 hrs.
Istanbul was fly from Manchester to Zurich then to Thessaloniki in Greece did a 14 hour session in a pub then train to the turkish border (6hrs) then train to Istanbul (8 hrs). The turkish part of the journey was on an old english sleeper train with compartments on it. The driver stopped the train to go and pray at a mosque by the side of the track and then we had to wait an hour because a cow had wandered onto the track and they couldn't remove it. Coming home we missed the train in Istanbul the day after the match(bet you can't guess why) so had to get in a taxi with Michael Schumacher (well he thought he was) to catch the train up. I don't think i've ever been as scared in my life.

Well i'm back. Had a cracking time even though we lost. Managed to get a ticket so got in.Kept my record going of never being locked out or paying over the odds for a ticket. What a shit hole Athens is. Thought we was unlucky to lose but never mind you can't win em all. The ref did them MASSIVE favours. The Milan fans were absolutely shite, couldn't hear them at all during the game as only about 10k travelled. Well never mind , roll on Moscow and another stamp for the passport.
