I played Varsity in High School, and then played freshman year in a small college in Texas, then my sophomore year I got cut cuz some asshole freshman was probably 50x better than i was! How about you guys?

I played varsity threw out High School, which I found to be a waste freshmen and sophomore years because I barely played. I started to get some real PT my Jr year. Now I just play every day with my friends at the park.
playing 2k8.. pretty much just varsity in HS. got all league awards and stuff like that, but never really got any college consideration.

I had 2 interviews with the Clippers... Which probably outweighs my NBA 2k8 skills And that outweighs my 1 year of HS basketball...
1 year JV, 3 years Varsity in high school. Freshman year bench warmer at a D3 college. Sophomore year made the team, but declined a roster spot so I could focus on academics and stayed on the practice squad my last 3 years.
I think the closest is probably about 30 feet from the court, like 5 years back my Dad got some good tickets and he gave them to my brother and myself. Then probably about 20 times about 80-100 feet away in the corner of the upper level.
I used to be really fat when I was in elementary school, and the beginning of middle school. I never played organized ball. I lost weight, played on some CYO (Church Youth Organization?) teams, but never really did much. There were frequent times when the team would do well while I was in. Then, the coach would yank me, and we'd lose by 20. Try to figure that one out. After that, just playground ball.
PAL when I was a kid, and another CYO league when I was a kid. that's one thing I highly regret: not sticking with leagues. these days it's just playground stuff, though I'll be joining a rec team in either winter or next summer, so I'm excited about that. I love the sport.
I played Varsity since my Soph year in HS. Now im a Freshie in college but didnt sign up or want to play college ball.
my team is to sick to make we have a 6-7 15 year old who starts on varsity and is def going d1 then we have a girl who is a junior she is the best in NY state and she could pretty much go to any d1 college she wants.
Never played in school and knew nothing about the game until I started watching Celtics games in the 80s. Then I hit the pick up courts at college and in my hometown and eventually developed quite a reputation among the local high school boys as the "old" white lady that could shoot and drive some. I did actually win some games of "30" against guys that played organized ball at high school (then or before), so I didn't do so bad for a 5'7" female that never played until she was in her 20s.

Played through my Jr year in HS, fortunately i dropped outta team, cuz i wanted to make guap. Smell me?
