It's a good site, but their Mock Draft is off. The way they determine their mock draft is by their player rankings. The top ranked player will go to the worst team, the second best player according to their rankings goes to the second worst team, so on and so forth. They don't take into consideration team NEEDS.

Now I'm on the site often enough that I eventually realized that they were just matching their player rankings to the team records, but it certainly isn't obvious to non-draftniks. I think they'd avoid a lot of problems and gain a lot of credibility if they just said their mock draft is just a player ranking until the lottery is held. I doubt they realize how much unnecessary criticism they're getting by not explaining what they're doing.
They always change their selections once in a while. That should say something about it's accuracy. Anyway, don't they have an accuracy percentages that they show after the draft? Like how many they got right?
I do check out the site once in a while, but I really don't consider their predictions anymore. They had Josh Smith at the #3 spot last month and then dropped him to #11. Today I just checked it and now he's back to the #6 spot again...

I've been following their mocks for the last 3-4 years and I can tell you that their final mock draft from 2003 was about as accurate as it's every year. Which is to say that it is about as accurate as the final mock draft espn did, but that stands to reason because I have a strong suspicion that every mock draft is working off espn's information to some extent. Anyway, last year nbadraft.net had 13 out of 14 in the lottery and 10 of those 13 with the right teams. But then again, I think last year was a fairly predicatble draft. In 2002 the botched Cleveland/LAC deal threw everyone's mocks out the door as most had Butler going to Cleveland at #6 and Wagner going to the Clippers. I think it would be unfair to say nbadraft, net isn't a good site because their mock drafts in April and May look so much different than the final mock draft on the night before the draft. That's true of every mock draft. If someone tells you in April that they know exactly what's going to happen in the draft, they're either lying or just stupid. Things don't start to fall into line until a week or two before the draft. I like the site because it is generally the most informative, free draft site on the net.
I think NBADraft.net is a good site. They just post the rankings of the players at first but once the workouts start and team interests are posted they change them to correspond. I don't know anywhere else that has bios on ALL of the draftee's so NBAdraft.net is usually where I go.
Its a good place to get stats and some general info, but i never really agreed with their "NBA Comparison" thing...they do a terrible job of it...I remember they compared Eddie Griffin to Tim Duncan, and Carmelo Anthony to Antoine Walker.....
Yeah I knew they were ordering the players by potential, but I just get sick to my stomach when they got us selecting Ivan Chiriaev. And that nba comparrison thing got on my nerves as well when they compared Dunleavy to Peja. One site even went as far as comparing Dunleavy to Larry Bird. You never compare a rookie prospect to a top 50 player of all time.
