I have never heard of this... How would you go about tearing a stomache muscle?

I personally think he's resting himself for the rest of the season, maybe he's not as fit as he used to be playing with the youngsters these days?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but tearing a stomache muscle would surely be painful and rull someone out for the rest of the season? plus I don't know how you would do this by playing football?

I've done it before. Did it playing Rugby though. Put me out for a season for my football team. It's excruitiatingly painful and i wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

I can imagine it is very painful, seeing as everything you do usually involves your abdominals. Including walking, sitting down, getting up etc

It did. The doctor had to come see me and said i should stay in bed for about four - five days. Only getting up to go pee, and other essential stuff like that
