Same reason The Ramones chose the name The Ramones - no one else wanted the name.

Started off on OLive in 2005 with a dumbass name that had 0 meaning. Had my account banned there by overzealous mods to become CleBlazer1 when I moved to CLE. Kept my dumbass name over on bbf and it continued here in our exodus over to S2. Should prolly change to something that actually has meaning.

    You pick:

    a) I lost 75 pounds and no longer have man boobs

    b) I was originally TraderBoob on the ESPN board during the whole Trade Whitsitt fiasco, changed it to Boob-No-More during one of the previous migrations right before the 2006 draft

    c) After 28 years of marriage to a large breasted woman, divorced her and finally admitted I'm gay

    d) all of the above

Hmm, interesting, I always assumed the prk part was short for prick, not pork. Learn something new everyday.

I got tired of my old board name "Baracuda74" so I brainstormed for a new name and came up with "GriLtCheeZ". That is it really. It's a favorite food of mine. Grilled cheese sandwiches are a simple and awesome comfort food. I once started a thread asking people what they would order if they were on death row and grilled cheese, steak fries, a dill pickle and a chocolate milkshake was my answer, but that is too long. I used the hip hop spelling just for fun.

But, you are Yuyuza1, not CleBlazer1.... unless you mean have it changed on another site? Ya lost me. :)

Honestly? Yours is the best explanation yet. Honest. Open and hey!! Great job on the weight loss!

Nice. Ever try tossing as couple slices of tomatoes in there? Even bacon works too. I love me a tomato grilled cheese sandwhich.

In all fairness to your mermaid mom, she was really drunk when she gave birth and that's what the doctor heard when he asked for a name

    b) is the real reason, a) and c) are only partially true. It was more like 50 pounds and I never really had man boobs. I'm not gay, but after 28 years being married to the wrong woman with big boobs, I definitely prefer small breasted women. I'll take small and perky over big and bouncy any day.

I'm going with A and C because the best way to shed unwanted fat is to get a divorce

    You pick:

    1) When I was young I went to the dog track with my dad and there was a dog who always won named Noknobs Johnson. For some reason I would later use it as my moniker.

    2) I am vehemently opposed to the Kob - a sub-Saharan antelope - and all that it stands for.

    3) I got my balls shot off back in 'Nam.

    4) Two of the above

I saw 42N8 on a license plate once. It took me a while to figure out it could be sounded out as "fortunate", four-two-Neight. I added the bounce to make it a bit more basketball related.

I'm going with 1 because it's straight out of a John Updike short story

This was my assumption as well, but I didn't feel like being a dick today, so I was going to keep my comment to myself. But thanks for posting this!

My name is a reference to the 2009 children's movie starring Pierce Brosnan.

I always thought it was a Joe Pryzbilla reference. He hated the nickname. Shack made fun of him for it, lol.
