How good could the bulls & celtics be if they..??

didn't trade away all their best players!!

it's so sad..

the bulls:

elton brand, brad miller.. they could've been leading the bulls front court instead of those two scrubs in curry and chandler. wow. what a difference. a serious difference.

ron artest.. look at how he turned out. amazing. and i saw him play a whole lot at college being in the big east and all, and i never expected this much out of him either. but the boy can play.. tsk tsk bulls.

marcus fizer.. bust.

they gave up on khalid el amin. [IMG]

trenton hassell.. good role player for minnesota.. or half decent.. but a role player nevertheless.

jay williams.. ;0

lonny baxter, bust.

travis knight [IMG]

jake voskuhl. [IMG]

jalen rose.. their best scorer.

donyell marshall. [IMG]. the freaking man!

having elton brand, brad miller, ron artest, donyell marshall and whoever is pretty damn good for a starting line up!! too bad it never happened! dumb bulls.

but apparently they are interested in anybody/everybody uconn has! [IMG]

---------

the celtics:

hmm.. let's see..
ya later antoine. ;0

so there goes antoine and pierce.. who weren't far away from a nba finals appearance..

joe johnson was drafted to help the celtics score.
then he got traded, of course.. and now he'll be the nba's most improved player.

w/ the 3rd pick, the celtics take chauncey billups! alright, great pick! let's trade the ******! and out he goes..

and w/ the 6th pick in the same draft, ron mercer! holy, look at what we just got from last years college group! ron mercer and billups! what a bright future!

never happened.

and they've made a lot of stupid draft decisions over the years.. but so has everyone.. and never got that big man they wanted, and probably never will..

but when you could've had paul pierce, antoine walker, chauncey billups, and joe johnson as four of your starting five, you don't need a freaking awesome big man! and mercer off the bench.. (who put up good numbers w/ boston)..

and of course they let go of rick fox.. who fits in well w/ the lakers.. [IMG]

and bruce bowen.. at least he has some rings now.. great defense.. great perimeter, tsk tsk.

and tony battie.. who was their big man.. and damon jones.. who is shining off the bench in milwaukee this season.. and danny fortson, another big man.. who at least had some numbers in g.s.. and eric williams, creed, orion, who was good for that team..

stupid celtics.

i dont know why i did this thread. i dont like either teams. it's 5 am, and i'm bored. and i like to analyze why teams completely suck, so i did this. ;0. ok, i guess i do know why i did this thread.

couldn't split the thread so i put it in both forums since it deals with two different teams - BN

in the bulls talk i made a similar argument earlier on this site, my friend and i we were talking about it a couple of days ago 2..i actually thought the jalen rose and marshall trade was good in the long runs (get rid of rose's contract), jyd brings a lot of energy. i don't really mind trading 4 rose giving up artest, miller, mercer even though it was a big mistake, but i wanted 2 keep artest (him and brand were my favorite bulls players, even b4 artest became that well known). I absolutely HATED the brand for chandler trade though

why are we talking about the celtics? but they definetly have made the worst moves in this year alone, and i don't think joe johnson and billups would have become the players they have w/ walker and pierce hoisting up 3 after 3

Yeah becasue of all those players that polayed really well when they left the bulls, I don't Paxson to make naymore trades with like the young guys... it's too risky!
