If we had Yao and T-Mac including the rest of the team healthy the whole season how good do you think they'd be? I think they'd be a contender for it all, because eventually T-Mac would stop playing like a pass first superstar like he was earlier in the season when Yao was health, and we have already seen how good Yao has been doing this season. Shane Battier is a good producer and a very good defensive player. I'm from Chicago so I gotta love Luther Head. He always had a nice shot, but I see him driving to the whole alot. I think they could be up there with Dallas and San Antonio in the West if they were healthy and T-Mac played like he used to play back in Orlando.
I think they'd be a notch below Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix -- but probably at the same level as the Jazz and the Lakers. Actually, I'd favor the Rockets in a playoff series against the Jazz or Lakers, if we're healthy.
Yeah, but I would say that Nuggets are above Jazz and Lakers, but below the rockets (I cant judge my nuggets till i see melo and ai together). I think Rockets may be able to take the suns tho if theyre healthy

Historically, the Spurs are known for slow starts but getting on a role later in the season. This year, their "slow start" is a 25-11 record while leading the league in point differential. And they're playing a wide rotation right now to conserve their big guns -- only three players are averaging more than 30 MPG, and none more than 35 MPG. Come April, that rotation will tighten up and they'll probably be one of the top 2 or 3 favorites to win it all.

They have yet to prove because they have never had a chance to...injuries have been haunting them since they accquired tmac wheter it be with yao or t-mac
This is all about the "what-ifs". Every team has them, so it's not a big deal. Let's forget wat could have been (when referring to the injury woes of last season) and think about what WILL happen once Yao and Snyder comes back. Let's forget Sura.

I'm not being a homer, but it's true. Right now we're where the Lakers are. But with Yao back and Tracy distributin, we're pretty much unstoppable. To me, Battier has become the best defender in the league. Not by dirty play or flopping (like Bowen or Raja Bell) but by pure hustle and hard work. Plus it doesn't hurt he's a consistent 3pts shooter. Head has become money from 3pt also, while Skip does a great job running the offense (minus the terrible shooting some nights). Snyder brings that intensity that we desperatley need, and Bonzi can pick up the slack most nights. Truthfully, the Spurs are NOT better than the Rockets. Niether are Dallas our Phoenix............
im not quite ready to say that even tho they 1 of my 2 fav teams. i think they need to prove themselves against the competition in texas, otherwise the are best. At best, the 3 best in the league are all in texas.
At full strength, (excluding Sura) I think we can beat the Spurs, Dallas, LAL, and Jazz in the playoffs, but not Phoenix. They have too much firepower for us, and our defense isn't as effective when we play their game. I picked Phoenix at the start of the season to take it all and I'm sticking with them. They can accept so much failure (wasted efforts) before Nash, Amare, Marion, Diaw, Bell, Barbosa, (and newly acquired Jalen Rose) just break out in the Western Conference Finals. Amare is almost back to full strength, never thought I'd say that, and Nash seems to get better and better in the run n' gun system.

There's the playoffs from 2 seasons ago, and Dallas have improved so much since then. So have we... But If we don't win it, then I think Dallas will.. hehehhe. Because I always think we're gonna win it hahaha
Right now, we're an 8th seed. Without everybody we're one of the best teams. Without Bonzi, we stand no chance in 7 game series against Dallas, San Antonio, or Phoenix. Some of you have got a little ahead of urself's. I pray that JVG understands that he SHOULD play Bonzi.

With our team healthy we have one limit only: this limit is called Jeff Van Gundy (ok, let's call this a provocation).
With Yao and Tmac healthy we could easily be the top 4 teams in the Western Conference with Dallas, Spurs, Suns. Yao and Mac is easily one of the best combos in the entire league and plus we have Howard, Battier, Alston who are able to produce big numbers sometimes. I really think we have a better than we did 2 years ago even though McGrady has the back problems because we have a younger team now. We now have a MVP caliber Yao Ming with an improving Tmac. We have good, young guys who are able to help like Head, Hayes, Lucas. If Tmac can keep is scoring average at 25 or above that with Yao Ming getting his 25, man Rockets have a great chance at the title. GO ROCKETS!

We're not gonna keep that 5th seed if Yao or Bonzi don't touch the court. That statement completley went over ur head (which i'm not suprised)
