If you had the opportunity to serve in the army, navy, air force, etc. Without having to leave behind a wife and kids. Who here would actually not chicken out and do it?Just an honest question.
I'd go if I was drafted, but not if there wasn't one. I'd go as a duty, not because I necessarily agreed.
I don't think I would. After what happened to my brother, not only would my mom not allow me to, but I wouldn't want to do it to my mom because I'm all she has left. With that aside, I still probably wouldn't do it, because I'm not an Army type person.
I would probably , the navy or the air force, were all going to die one day so why not maybe die for your country?
I'm actually going into the Military when I turn 18 in December. My dad has me talked into it, it's one of the best jobs you can have.
I would join the Navy. I actually still might. Once I finish my apprenticeship I bet the Navy would give me a cushy job as a welder. Im not ready to commit to the military yet though, im having too much fun being young. I dont have any felonies or misdemeanors and I passed hs so im sure they'd let me in if I applied.
Noooo, Ballaholic, does that mean you will leave us?Actually, I take my post back, I'd definetley join the Coast Guard, that would be fun, and I'd be willing to fly in the Air Force as a jet refuler

Only if I was forced too..Back when I was younger like early high school days, I was counting down the years until I could join the military, but I'm not a huge pussy.
I think I can do a lot more to help the world in other fields than I could being a weakling in the army. If there's a draft my ass is going to Canada.
Going into the military can serioulsy set you for life. Theres several people I know who simply werent very smart bookwise but were very hard-working. They went into the military, have a life-changing experience and now have a nice life with good benefits. Its really a escape for people who really messed up early on. Of course you take a major risk...I have no urge to join the military, but it is something Ive thought about. Ive actually called up and asked about it, and with my condition I would only be a technicion, unless I joined the Navy. Then theres that thing, my grandpa was in the Marines, and my uncle was in the Navy...so one of them wouldnt be so happy with me.

the legacy of BBW will live after Balla is gone. I wonder if combs can take over solely. we still have a few more years to worry about who will succeed as co-admin.
