When they have a chance to clear the zone. It's going on 5 years of this crap. Started with Torts. Get the f'n puck out of the zone when you have a chance. Must have seen them throw the puck back at least 10 times when they could have cleared it and it led to about 5 scoring chances.

That poor pass by Miller that ended in a Canes PP is why AV sits him.

With that said, right now on this team I think Miller needs to be in the top 9 until we add more forward depth. Moving Zucc down was a good move by AV tonight. Balances out the top 9 and lengthens the lineup IMO.

That's another all-time Ranger staple, along with the opposing teams goal 30 seconds after theirs, and giving up the losing fluke goal late after blowing tons of chances. Never fails.lol

    So the lines were

    Nash-Stepan-MSL
    Kreider- Hayes-Zucc
    Hagelin-Brassard-Fast
    Miller-Moore-Glass

these lines can beat CAR and FL but let's see how they are against the Bruins

I actually liked Hayes and Kreider together. Kreider was a beast. All I'm asking is he plays half his regular season games like that.

No kidding. He's the classic play like a beast one out of five games. Needs to do that every game and he would be a 30+ goal guy.

I've wanted to see CK and Hayes together since the Rangers signed him. Would seem like a no brainer with their history together but I guess AV has his reasons. I had to laugh when I saw the title because although the no look drop pass to no one is a long time Rangers staple the numbers have to be up significantly this year, MSL has to be top 3. The other thing I can't stand is when the puck is cleared or there's a missed pass at center ice a Rangers dman will collect the puck and reverse back into his own zone behind the net to restart the play as if AV runs these schemes so complex that they couldn't possibly be started any closer to the net. A simple dump in is always a better solution.

The Rangers have two breakouts. Throw the puck backwards 5 times and always go up the side boards. Tampa, Boston and the Islanders know it, anticipate it and AV hasn't changed it. Thus why they have sucked against those teams.
