    This offseason...
I got some folx at a non-bball forum saying the Warriors are one of the only teams thatll be able to offer a max contract to a free agent.

From what I understood as soon as Davis and Robinson's contracts are gone, most of that money will go to Richardson and Murphy's extended contracts..

    True...false??

You are right. Most of Davis and Robinson's amount goes to Richardson and Murphy, hence we get zero caproom...

Yeah, thank god we got rid of Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison. God forbid we kept them around, than we wouldn't have the funds available to aquire our franchise players Adonal Foyle and Derek Fisher. Thank God we have them long term!!!

Hey, at least they bring a positive stuff such as illusive locker presence, plenty of offense rebounds for other teammates, including missed dunks (Foyle's dunk isn't always sure thing), and warms the bench. Can't believe we dumped Jamison's salary only to sign those two players...

I don't know how foyle can miss as many dunks as he does. I thought dunks were about 95% chance of making.

Yea I was really disappointed we signed fisher and folye to those big contracts when I thought the purpose was to sign a superstar player with the cap to go around the core players. I thought the Folye siging was good at first, a bit large but good. I've always liked folye but he has disappointed me. He can't make a dunk or reobund and his one on one D is less then superior.

We had Dickau for 2 months. Can't believe we had a cheap young Pg that was a better player than Fisher and his mammoth contract.

What happened with him? Didnt he just apsolutely not want to play here? I guess we thought Fisher was just way better than him...

Reunite DFish with Shaq? Dfish for Damon Jones. Does that even work? Would love to see it go down though.

Atlanta definitely should be able to offer a maximum contract this offseason. I think the Bobcats could probably do so, but they are still in "waiting" mode due to the expansion rules. I need to check up on other possible teams, but as was stated, Golden State is not one of the teams that can offer it. We won't even have the mid-level unless the collective bargaining agreement changes, as it can only be used every other year and we used the majority of it on D-Fish, along with filling the rest of the cap with Foyle, Richardson and Murphy.
