the Ducks secondary play or lack there of it concern you for Arizona this weekend? I really need to see this young secondary make strong open field tackles, not overpursue and allow 5 -10 YAC's......

I'll also be interested in how Mariota handles Arizona's confusing defensive schemes....

We'll win, but it may be closer than some think!

As to the secondary I'm not all that concerned. Allioti has a 'bend but not break' mentality that gives up a lot of catches. But they ratchet it up once the other team gets down to our 40 or so. I think it fair to concede AZ completing 60%. As to YAC, we have so much defensive speed that we have great pursuit so not a huge concern there.

That said, if we can't put a lot of pressure on the AZ QB, the game could be very close as no defense can give a QB over 5 seconds to pass.

My hope is that Dion Jordan has their QB hearing footsteps by end of 1st quarter!!!

Yes, but he's a running QB. At least we have excellent speed for pursuit.

If we can keep him shooting the gaps then Kiko should have a high light reel... I think Dion and Hart on either side might channel him properly to Mr. Alonso.....
