That should be a wake up call to our team that any team can kick your ass if you don't bring it.

    exactly, he's sporadic.

And the more his teammates play with him, the more they will hate him and it will ruin chemistry.

Just wait until the wolves play the Lakers. It will be like the Rose Garden Massacre of the bulls...

It's NBA basketball. It was just like a depleted Sac Team winning in New Orleans last week. These upsets happen all the time in the NBA. Any player or team can get hot for a night. That is why it was ridiculous for Blazers fans to think the loss at Golden State was so inexcusable.

...my guess is that the entire Piston team was out late last night partying it up and building off-the-court chemistry with their new beloved teammate, AI :dunno:

I still think Minnesota is the "best" worst team in the NBA. On paper they look like a team that should be able to win a few or at least play people to the wire.

Without looking at the boxscore I'd wager Iverson took half of the team's shots and only converted on 35% while Rasheed decided he'd rather hang on the perimeter and jack up 6 or 7 threes.

    Am I close?

I guess I was "sort of" close (can't believe AI only took 11 shots in a game!). Rasheed has turned into a novelty act at this point of his career. I've never seen a 7 footer so in love with the three-ball. :NOTMARIS:

I was curious so I looked.

Out of 81 shots, AI took 11 and made 3.

Rasheed shot four 3's and made one. He was 3-10 overall.

Minn shot 53% (63% from three) and Detroit shot 37% (36% from three). Ball game.

Dumars basically sacrificed this year and next years team for a chance at one of the Free Agents in 2010. So far Iverson hasn't won shit no matter where he goes. I realize he had some great years in Philly but every team he's gone to has struggled including the Olympic teams he was on. One of those great individual players that doesn't make players around him better.
