Favre will be booed, and Favre will be cheered. I personally would give him thumbs down if I see him in the Vikings jersey.
Rodgers ended up being good so I don't think it is a huge deal Favre left. You got to keep your young franchise QB instead of him leaving in free agency after riding the bench.
I understand, but hes a Viking... The Packers biggest rival. Thats a dagger to all Packers fans, as the radio announcer says.
He's a Viking because of their running game and system though. If they sucked he wouldn't be there, so I wouldn't take it quite as personal. I understand being upset but it was also the Packers who didn't even want him to play anywhere, offered him millions to just retire IIRC.
He wasn't making up his mind... AT ALL... He would say hes not going to play, then come back and be like OH I WANT TO PLAY... And Rodgers is sitting there like, oh there goes my job, AGAIN. If Favre didnt play up the drama after the last few seasons everything would be better. When he first retired as a Packers, I didn't even watch the conference because I thought it was a lie. And well, I was right.
Yeah but your organization isn't innocent enough to play victim either. Both are pendejos really, they tried to keep a healthy guy from playing anywhere else once you picked Rodgers. They forced him into New York. Now that New York released him he should be able to play wherever.
"Bonds: We just need to go out there and do our jobs, just as you professionals do your job. All you guys lied. All of y'all and the story or whatever have lied. Should you have asterisk behind your name? All of you lied. All of you have said something wrong. All of you have dirt. All of you. When your closet's clean, then come clean somebody else's. But clean yours first, OK." http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/02/23/TRANSCRIPT.TMP#ixzz0VTMj7RNl :O
