Someone help me. This team is such a disappointment. I watch games and continuously get pissed off because of their lack of effort on the defensive and and a lack of fire overall. Think of this as a therapeutic thread. How can one handle the disappoint and blowouts game in and game out? In what other ways can one get enjoyment out of this team? I need answers cause right now this is just a wreck.
Expectations went from 20 wins last year, to being an upper echelon team in the West this year, and the only thing that changed was Evan Turner.
Turner played great tonight, and he's also one of our best wing defenders. He has nothing to do with this.
It's just sad that I might have to stop watching for a while. This team gives me literal headaches. It's so insanely bad.
I'm not anymore. I've given up on the season. But I still don't like the fact that we're going to be stuck with Turner/crabbe/Meyers for 4 more years at the rate they got.
We are just bad in all facets of the game. We can't defend, we cannot rebound, and our offense is bad. We expect too much from Dame and CJ, who in turn aren't creating easy looks for our offensively challenged players. We are good enough to beat bad teams, but I think these blowout losses to good teams shows us we aren't much of a playoff team, even if we somehow made it.
Well, we have won 7 games. Last year at this point, we were on a 7 game losing streak so breathe a little. Let's go win tomorrow and then get the 2 in NYC. That makes us 10-6. I'll take that.
Keep in mind, if we won today, we'd have sole possession of 4th in West. That's how close we are. We're not Dallas. It could be worse.
