As promising as Josh Smith and Marvin Williams might be, each remain more of an athlete and less of a basketball player. Even the emerging Joe Johnson, currently helping Team USA at the World Championships, is unproven as a team leader.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>5. Lose those unis OK, so this one is more a matter of personal taste. But is there any uniform uglier than those mustard yellow numbers the Hawks were sporting at times last season? Yikes. Hold a bonfire on Opening Night, and toss those babies right into the pile. If nothing else, it would be a symbolic gesture for a team that could use a fresh start.</div> I love the mustard uniforms.

He's talking about winning a championship. Did the Bulls or any other young team for that matter win a NBA Championship in recent times? No, they have ALWAYS been veteran teams. Lets just look at the last 2 teams that won. Heat and Spurs. The 2006 Heat had 9 players that were 29 or older. (Shaquille O'Neal, Alonzo Mourning, Jayson Williams, Michael Doleac, Gary Payton, Shandon Anderson, Derek Anderson, Antoine Walker)The 2005 Spurs team had 9 players that were 29 or older. (Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan, Brent Barry, Bruce Bowen, Rasho Nesterovic, Tony Massenburg, Robert Horry, Glenn Robinson, Nazr Mohammed)Thats what he means by young teams dont win. Do you get any jewlery by getting beat in the 1st round? I dont think so, so to explain what the Bulls did, thats not winning. Plus, what seed did the Bulls get this last season? The 7th seed with a 41-41 record. They wouldnt of made the playoffs in the West, they are fortunate that they play in the weak East. And i mean weak as in the bottom of the east is weaker than the bottom of the west.

Hornets, Magic, and Bulls all did pretty well last year..I'm not very fond of Mike Woodson though
