    So here's the deal.

    Friday: Rockets/Spurs, Blazers/Thunder

    Sunday: Rockets/Hawks, Blazers/Mavs

One Blazer win clinches us a better record than the Suns so I'm leaving them out of the equation.

    Blazers 43-32
    Rockets 39-36

We have the tie breaker with Houston. The magic number is 3.

If the Rockets win both games, we can't qualify this weekend.

If the Rockets win only one game (very likely), we can make the playoffs by winning both our games.

If the Rockets lose both games, we qualify with one win.

So in best case scenario, we win Friday and Rockets lose. Then Rockets lose to Hawks and we qualify for the playoffs near the end of the first quarter of our game on Sunday.

    Whew. It's happening soon.
