They will come out ok. They have an emerging star in AK47 and should be able to sign some stars next off-season. Unfortnutaley this year all there offer's were matched so they weren't able to get any big names.

The Jazz are a very well organised franchise. They wont be like the Clippers and Bulls and have the worst records for season after season. They are now in a rebuilding phase and players like AK47, Harp, Arroyo and Stevenson should be better off in this new look Jazz team. If they don't have a good record, that means a good lottery pick, something the Jazz haven't had for years. They should be like this for about 3 years tops before they are back in the playoffs.

I am not too sure about that, todays players don't want to play in Utah, thats like going to Canada (Toronto is not too bad though)

I agree with one ESPN writer who wrote an article about the Jazz earlier this month..it will be bad for a very long time.

Most of the Jazz team will get a lot better this season. They are mainly young and inexperienced but they will get better. If they keep the exact same team, I think they will be about 8 games better in the 04-05 season than the 03-04 season. But they should get a good pick in the draft and with the salary that the Jazz have, they will proably end up with a guy that has a big contract that a team want to get rid off. Abdur Rahim for example. With Jerry Sloan as coach aswell the Jazz wont be bad for long at all. They have a GM I trust will make the right moves ( he has been unlucky so far but the trades he's made are good ones).
Even if players don't want to go to Utah, they don't have much choice if they are drafted or traded, which by then they will want to stay.

Because of the latest trade, Utah get 2 first round picks, one is lottery protected until 2006 from Houston and the other from Chicago then from Houston is top 3 protected. So 3 (dont forget Utah's normal first round pick)first round picks this year will help a lot for Utah to get back in the playoffs which doesn't seem to be to long away so far.
