<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Instead of playing on another lottery-bound team -- Howard had been with the Denver Nuggets for the previous 11/2 seasons -- he could have been on the contending Timberwolves. Minnesota (33-13) is chasing the Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers for the best record in the NBA.

"But I gave Orlando my word," Howard said.

"Kevin was very persuasive," Howard said. "I was trying to get in contact with him, and he was trying to reach me. It was July 15 when K.G. called. He promised me he would sign [with Minnesota]. He was a big reason Minnesota was one of my top three choices.

"He was still recruiting me hard." Howard smiled.</div>

I feel really bad for him...you could've join Minesota with those guys...have a shot at the Finals...but is all good you sign with Orlando and now you are hearing people talking you are going to be traded you suck here we dont need you here...really sad.

Wolves or Pistons were his other choices

What a mistake you made Juwan, you say you don't regret the decision but I don't believe that for one second.

That's rather harsh, he's trying so hard and playing so well for them. He and TMac are in the same state as the Hawks. As well as Gooden. Having to carry a team singlehandedly is very difficult but very worthwhile in the longrun. Great chance to prove how much heart and effort this former marijuana addict this guy has. Why he's in the NBA and why he's the player that he is.

Yeah I don't think Howard doesn't regret his decision. He wish he could be with that MVP bound layer. But he's on Orlando now playing with T-Mac another great player so there's nothing he can do but wait.

Big mistake there Howard. I bet he does regret it, look at some of the other teams on that list. Some real title contenders. At least he is getting minutes in Orlando though.

He would have gotten mins in Minnesota and Detriot anyway. I think he will still end up in Minnesota, it sounds like they are talking every day about a potential trade.
