NATHAN BROWN has insisted he hasn’t quit the Giants to move to another club in the Australian NRL.

The Super League Coach of the Year has informed the club he intends to return Down Under for family reasons at the end of the season.

His imminent departure will bring the curtain down on what is already a highly successful two seasons at the Galpharm helm.

In his first year, the former St George Dragons head coach guided the Giants to a club record third-place Super League finish and helped them reach the Challenge Cup final at Wembley for the first time since 1962, although they were beaten 25-16 by Warrington Wolves.
