    In today's Miami papers, It was stated that;

    1) he will open checkbook (w/in reason) to sign anyone
    2) he expects Miami to make the playoffs
    3) WH blames Mare not Wanny for the Sept OT loss to New England @ home

What about the Houston and all the other lame, vanilla play calls all because DW did not have confidence in those executing the plays? I know there are more examples of weak play calling but have repressed (at least for the time).

A coach who does not trust his players is even more pathetic than one whose calls make Woody Hayes look like a genius. Adding to the shame spiral, DW has no problem in covering the back of the QB who is more responsible than any other player in poorly executing terrible plays.

It appears Spielman has done okay so far in acquiring players that could upgrade areas of need. I am optimistic for now. How many games will have passed before Wanny has pissed away another season for want of taking a chance?

Okay, If anyone believes A.J. has a fair chance w/ Wanny as the judge then you need to go to your pharmacist and get your meds altered.

Then there is this out of today's Sun-sentinel, "Huizenga said Monday that Wannstedt "knows exactly how I feel" about wanting aggressiveness from the start of each game. Wannstedt said Tuesday they've never had that conversation. The tradition continues. ..."

Bottom line; 2004 ought to be real interesting. I can hardly wait?

I saw that article yesterday where Big Wayne was blamin Mare. he made a fool of him self with almost every word he said. I mean I understand with everything that went on during that game Mare had a legit chance to win the game but he didn't lose it. I'm sure if you went over the tape of that and anyother game anyone has lost you can find multiple wasted chances either by penalties, poor execution, or PLAY CALLING. He should be embarassed that he basicly said they missed the playoffs because of there kicker. He sounded like he writes checks but doesn't watch.

The way I see it, Wanny the fanny must go. He can't head coach, and there's too much money on the line for him to keep f-ing up. It's now clear to me that any amount of talent on his team will not succeed under his program. Good luck.

I think it is funny that if he won the super bowl this year every will call huizenga a genius for sticking with him, and all the DWO will lift him on their shoulders to a cheer of "hip hip hooray"

In spite of what today is, I can speak only for myself (& not for the Dwo-ites), I will never cheer for Wanny. i may take back some of the nasty things I've said. But, only, to say them again.

If the Dolphins win the Super Bowl, it will be because Feidler will have been sent packing, Wanny has been canned, Trestman calling the plays.

Dale offered the theory that Turk being a former jet was purposefully botching things. Well, isn't Feidler from Long Island? Some where near the Green weenies training facilities?

You wont find a lot of Dolphin stuff in the Orlando Sentinel, they are mostly Buc crazy, you will have to go farther south to find the really good Wanny bashing

Not another DOLPHIN fan, how do you draft your following? Maybe with the new BEARS team we have, they will come. Just kidding, it is always good to see new people posting here( unless their PACKER fans, sorry guy's I had to, but just another joke). Welcome aboard and good luck.[IMG]

4th, my friend, Good taste would appear to be overtaking this forum. Dolphins fans can best be summarized by the following ZZ Top song, "We're bad. We're nationwide."

Hey... I've been following many drafts by many different people. lol
I want to know who everyone here thinks the Dolphins should or "will" take on their first pick? This is something that they have to consider very closely and make the right decision because we are very weak in one specific area and I think we all know what that is. So let me know who everyone thinks the Dolphins will choose. [IMG]

If hes available at #20 I think P. Rivers should be the pick, but I dont think he will be available and if he is, I dont think the Dolphins will take him....I figure its between Shaun Andrews(OT), Vernon Carey(G/OT), and the best WR available....which could be Mike Williams, Lee Evans, Mike Clayton or any of the top 8....they may also trade down to the top of the 2nd round and draft Jacob Bell(OT) from USC...

First trade Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor, and Patrick Surtain to the Chiefs for their #s 1, 2, and 3 picks. Then bundle your 2 #1s and wrestle that 1st overall pick away from the Chargers and draft Eli Manning. You know you need a QB to get it done. No sence denying. It is your destiny....

KC, my friend, what are you thinking? I would not let any of the players listed above for less than a 1st & 2nd rounder for each. Though, some of that compensation could be negated by throwing in T Gonzalez and/or Holmes.

Not Holmes and Williams in the same backfield, but close....Gonzalez and McMicheal form the leagues best TE duo and the Phins run 2TE sets all the time with them, Holmes is sent to Oakland for the #2 pick in the draft, allowing the Dolphins to grab Manning and Roethliserger...the Dolphins decide to run the leagues 1st three QB set, with all in the shotgun, side by side, just think of the trick play possibilities...!
