Hull Confirm Interest in Spurs Defender

TOTTENHAM'S Anthony Gardener is not short of potential suitors, as newly-promoted Hull City have joined the race to sign the giant defender.

Tigers boss Phil Brown admitted he was keen on the out-of-favour centre-back and has offered the 27-year-old a route out of his White Hart Lane nightmare, which has seen him suffer a serious ankle injury last season as well as being carted off to Everton on-loan - only to have to settle for a place on the bench.

"There's interest from us," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"The lad's got a proven Premier League pedigree and is available at the right transfer fee.</div>

That would be a great signing for them. He helped me out a lot when I played with Leeds (FM).

 

He's a good defender, no doubt. He's a great fit for a club trying to keep their newly acquired place in the Premiership.

 

Yeah, and he definitely has no future at Tottenham - Especially with all that money they have coming in.

 

Could be a great signing by Hull.
