Tiger boss Phil Brown is believed to have made Plymouth a £1.8million offer but that was turned down with the Pilgrims said to be holding out for £3million.

Halmosi, who cost just £500,000 last summer, believes his valuation is too high and hopes Argyle will lower it so he will get a chance to play in the Premiership next season.

"As I am contracted to Plymouth they can ask for as much money as they want," Halmosi said of the situation. "They have started my selling price at £3million.</div>

Hopefully Hull City can manage to sign him along with some other players. They will definitely need to strengthen their side if they have any hopes of staying up in the Premiership next season.
