I really think Steven Hunter should re-sign with the phoenix Suns. I'm not saying he is the key to winning a championship next year but I believe he is a key asset to the Suns team when considering the bech role, he adds height is an incredible shot blocker can play the up tempo style and is an improving player with a lot of potential.
As a fan of the suns I really hope he re-signs, I'm quite sure he will as I haven't heard of any rumours to where else he may sign.

Ditto, i think he's getting an offer from the Mavs, but we just traded Voshkul so we have some money to sign him.

He has gotten interest from numerous teams including Philly, Dallas, New Jersey, New York, and a few others.

i hope he does resign, much value for the team, and is even more valuable as the Suns don't have an actual center. i mean amare gets it done, but i still would rather get a proven center than to have amare do the job. if the suns did have a true center, hunter, i think, would be even more effective.

i am thinking the same, he has improved and has great potential plus he promised to gain at least 20 pounds during the offseason, he's gonna be good.

    He's nearing a decision...

Not really Erick Dampier is foul proned in every game and Steve Hunter could even go up to more the 20 mins a night. Avery Johnson always sits down Dampier when he gets into early foul trouble and mostly doesn't play him throughout the remainder of the game . Unlike, your "similar situaion" Stud plays max mins just like all the starters for the suns and they rarly get into foul trouble.

I wonder where Hunter is going to go...

Sit on the bench at Phoenix for (possibly) less money and a lot less PT behind Amare and KT.

Or go to either Atlanta and start, Dallas and be a servicable backup or anyother team in need of his services where he can shine, and get paid at the same time.

Breaking news: Steven Hunter called Mike D'Antoni and said that he really wanted to play for the Suns, but D'Antoni said that they were not interested in keeping him at all.

I can promise you man this is no joke. Trust me.

Remember that long period of time that Hunter was benched in the middle of the season? He was having problems with the coaches for not trying hard enough, I'm pretty sure on that. And he was inconsistent at times. Whatever it was I can understand why they would want him to go.

tru dat... Well I'll take your word thanks for the information but if JJ goes, which looks very possible, I think the Suns need hunter. You never know the Suns may have some tricks up there sleeves(that don't include hunter).

If they don't sign JJ and Hunter they would have enough to sign Finley and Evans. That +
the other moves we made would make this a good off-season.
