<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">For a fan of the Nuggets or anyone associated with the team, the last sight you want to see is a wincing Allen Iverson limping into the press lounge to conduct his postgame news conference. But that was the scene when the star guard struggled in to talk to the media after taking X-rays on his right big toe following the Nuggets' 104-92 win over Milwaukee on Monday night at the Pepsi Center. Iverson was hurting, but happy. "It feels good," he said about the game. "I'm just happy to get one." He is also happy the X-rays came back negative. Iverson originally hurt the toe during the second quarter of the Nuggets' game at the Lakers on Friday night and has played with pain since. Monday, he jammed the toe into the floor and needed the additional inspection afterward. But Iverson insists he will play Wednesday night against San Antonio. "If it was cut off, I'll play," he said. The toe didn't appear to give Iverson any problems against the short-handed Bucks, who came into the game without the services of injured star guard Michael Redd, then lost their second-leading scorer, Mo Williams, to an injury just before halftime. He did not return. Iverson scored seven of his 23 points in the fourth quarter, including a 3-point basket late in the period that helped the Nuggets (17-15) stave off a Bucks' rally and snap a five-game losing streak. "It felt like one of the first shots I've made in months," Iverson said. It was a change from what had normally transpired in recent Nuggets games. </div> Source
