Your thoughts on the movie? I'd give it a 7.5/10. I thought it could've been longer, and I was expecting more in the ending about establishing Robert Nevilles legend. They shouldve shown one of those "10 years later" scenes, and see how he really saved mankind. I don't know, people say that I never give good reviews, but I really thought they could've put more effort into the movie.
Yeah, I agree. I heard the book was much better than the movie. I think I gave it 9/10. Maybe 8/10. It was really good, and really cool. FREEEDDDDDDDD
It gets bonus points, because I saw it in IMAX and they showed the first 6 minutes of 'The Dark Knight' before the movie.

At the core it is creepy but the genre has been worn down to a nub, now, so it's hard to read it with any real chills happening. The ending of the novel (and the meaning of the title) makes a lot more sense than the ending of the Will Smith movie. It's been made into four movies now, IIRC. The other three (Last Man on Earth/Omega Man/I Am Omega) are all laughably terrible so this one is a step up for sure. I didn't like the CGI goons, they looked fake to me. But I thought the first forty or so minutes of the movie were tremendous with Smith doing his Tom Hanks in Cast Away impression so I'll still give it a seven.
I really liked 9/10. But what i don't get is. *Beware Ending Spoiler* When he throws the Grenade he could easily of Ran off with the woman. Also the population of Manhattan is 1,537,195 5% become Zombies. That still leaves about 75,000 zombies lol
I think he had to insure that the woman and boy made it out alive, and that meant killing the zombies
