Ben should donate his next game check to Doug Brien.

If ben plays like that next week Pittsburgh season will be open, he seems to have hit a wall and if he doesnt get over it the Steelers are in trouble. I predict whoever wins tommorow beats steelers

I totally agree with you. Ben just showed me he can't handle pressure yet and he was totally ineffective against the Jets. The Jets should've won that game. Roth can't handle the Pats or Colts, so we'll see

(in advance sry for cursing so much in this message)
    FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
that is all i have to say. HOLY SHIT WE HAD THE FUCKING GAME WON. I was so happy. I was ready for him to kick the freakin FG prove everyone wrong EVERYONE!!! not one man picked the Jets seriously on TV. And they had a clear shot. 40 yards away. The Jets dominated the Steeler offense when Ben had to pass they forced Turnovers. we did ok against the running game and except for that INT Chad had a decent game. But really our defense and our special teams won if for us. 47 yarder. hits off the post. GOD DAMNIT. Steelers fans are so happy!!! first play of drive. INTERCEPTION!!!!!!!!!!! David Barnett o sry i mean Barrett returned it to the 50. Run run run. down to the 25. Ok lets just run the clock out. Easy field go Brien will get a second chance from a shorter distance its easy money. WIDE LEFT ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!1 AHHHHHHHHHHHHH THEN GOOD FORTUNE THEY GET THE BALL. THE OFFENSE SCREWS UP. steelers drive down and almost miss but they dont. they win. THATS A GIFT u bastards. Ben had a shitty game the defense shut u down. But our stupid kicker lost the game for us. and he had two chances to win too. There is absolutly no way the Steelers get into the superbowl. Winner of Pats vs Colts goes to the Superbowl. I'm like crying now. THIS SUCKS. damn i was so ready to heckle everyone. i hope Brien is cut he is a shitty kicker and has screwed up before. He missed a chip shot in the Charger game. And Mysteryman and GF1 remember that game vs the Giants a year ago, we lost you know why BRIEN SCREWED UP. i truely hate him with passion Steelers dont deserve crap. I'm jsut blurting out all rage and anger that i've built up since teh game. THIS REALLY SUCKED

now that i'm cooled. I think this game proved to everyone the Jets were teh real deal i mean no one expected the Steelers to win like this. I of course didnt expect the Steelers to win and they shouldnt have but i explained this in the post above. wow if they lost by a lot i wouldnt have cared as much but losing like that just crushed what could have been a great weekend. This game is gonna be with me for a month. Watch out next year. When we get a good kicker its all over

Give Ben a break... He's a ROOKIE playing in his first playoff game. And it's not just a throwaway "we snuck into the playoffs" wild card game, it was a "we have the best record in football, we're EXPECTED to win" playoff game.

He'll be fine next week. The Steelers got lucky, but Ben also got valuable experience.

Pack that's my point, he's a rookie in the playoffs. He was throwing the ball in the most horrible places. If they play NE next week, the Pats will do the same thing. Force Ben to throw it 15+ yards, and force the mistakes. That's exactly what the Jets did, and it worked. Sadly for them, they had a crappy kicker.

hey J-E-T-S, dont worry, i know ya shouldve won, but Roth is a rookie and he wont do good next week, and if they get lucky again, hell just do worse in the Super Bowl. its the way it is. hes a rookie. next year the steelers will be better with Roth having more experience, and maybe next yera will be their year.

next year will be much better, thier defense will be just as good and special teams except for kicker will be good. paul hackett will be fired!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!! we will get someone who can finally do something with the offense. Then they will be able to freaken score. Thier offense only scored 3 points vs the Steelers. Moss scored on a punt return. Reggie Tounge scored on an int return. So they really have to work something out with the offense. Other than that the Jets are going to be contenders next year. GOD i'm talking about next year. I should be talking about next game. DAMN U DOUG BRIEN

they have to sign lamont jordan. MUST, they must sign lamont jordan. He is gonna be a feature back in this league. John Abraham is the other key FA. They signed Pennington to 7 years. Ellis to 5 years. They wont resign Becht the TE. at the moment i cant think of any others. But i think we can do fine with out John Abraham. I mean i dont think they should sign him. Hes a great player one of the best in the game. But i dont wanna pay this guy to play half the season and get injured the other half and let his team down. Hes been injured for half the season for three years straight. Idk about him

I can't even read this whole thread. You guys are all nuts. The game was scary, everyone here was holding their breath, but let me throw one number out at you.... 3.

What is significant about that number? That's the amount of points the Steeler defense gave up. The Jets could not stop the run, got lucky on three bad plays, (2 picks, Bettis fumble) and kept the game close.

BUT.... BUT... lost. As they should have. No one can predict punt returns or INT returns. Without 2 plays, the Jets had 3 points.

Don't expect the same type of game next week. The Steelers will dominate on defense and score enough points to win. We're not the Colts soft defense, who actually only gave up 20 points.

No more messin' around, there'll be a new sheriff in town come final whistle on Sunday night....

but heres the thing. They stopped the pass when the needed to and made big plays on defense and special teams which they have been known to do. So it doesnt matter. it was 17-17 and the Jets had the winning field goal lined up. Twice. and they blew it. Their offense didnt do good thats y Paul Hackett will be fired. But points are points and doug brien blew it the Steelers got really lucky. Also they might not have stopped the run but they forced turnovers which is how you win a game. Think about it a team that lets up 3 turnovers in a game almost never wins. But the Jets screwed it up and the Steelers are lucky to get into the next round. That is the number i throw out at YOU. 3. o snap. Three turnovers dont win the game. your just lucky doug brien sucks

It's a new week now. I'll tell you this. I'm not holding my breath for this game. The Pats won't be underestimated, and Ben will be ready.
