    Why the minutes to start?

    Why the minutes in crunch?

Ok, I get he can be a three point threat, and not be that effective.

Ok, I get it he can play above-average man defense on Lebron and still get scored on just as if Bayless were were guarding Lebron.

So why the minutes? He makes more turnovers, and bone head plays, while being a weak offensive threat then anyone else on the team, injured or not.

KP please trade this guy so this potential haltering love affair will finally cease.

Did you miss his 8 assists, almost all of which created easy baskets for his teammates? Did you miss his key steal and execution of the fastbreak? He knew it wasn't his night shooting, so he did other things to help his team win. We almost pulled it off. It was a decent game by Blake.

That was Aldridge with the steal and probably one of the first fast breaks he's ran in awhile.

I agree, he played "decent", but weren't you boasting about how he was playing great?

You would let Blake have his way with you, wouldn't you?

Did you seem him step out of bounds in a very important possession in the 4th. It's plays that win the game. Not game to game, stats.

Yes, he must have been the only one who messed up in the 4th, right? I mean, that must make sense. He took all of the shots, guarded all of the Cavs players. Damn that Blake, he single handedly lost us this game!!!! Do we really need one of these threads after EVERY game?

I blame this loss on our soft PF who only grabbed 3 rebounds while letting Verajo kill us.

Well his over play happens to be one of the main reasons we lose games we should be winning, especially, where really everyone brought it in the first half only to die out in the final minutes of the game.

Kingspeed . . . you can't win many games when your starting PG doesn't score. We don't need him to get 15, but if he's not giving us 10-13 points and knocking down 3's . . . he just doesn't do enough else out there. He doesn't "create" easy shots - although he did have a few tonight. Normally, he brings it up and hands it to Roy. He's THIRD on the team in assists! Our starting PG who's shooting 37% and can't score!. His 8 assist tonight was his 3rd best game for the season so far. It's not like he does that every night.

LA was soft against his defender. RoY's shot should have been a goaltend. Tough break for the team.

You have to overlook that deficiency. LA scored 22 pts.

And remember, Blake had 0 pts. and 4 TO's and he's a valuable cog in the Blazer machine.

No you don't. Just gave the guy $60+ million dollars. Is it too much to ask that he score 22 points AND grab a few boards/not let your man get half a dozen lay-ins?

LMA truly needs someone like McHale to coach him some up 'n' under moves.
He desperately needs something other than the fadeaway jumper, something post-up, back to basket, to utilise his athleticism and length.

Oh and he needs to play like a man, with some banging ferocity. With that body he could dominate.
    Too bad he's a delicate flower. :(

He had the most turnovers of everyone, had 0 points. Lebron also had 4 turnovers but he had a little more then 0 also.

Yes. I'm starting to get on board with the McHale idea, for the team as well as LaMarcus.

On the other hand, Roy was 9-25 that really stings in terms of efficiency, and with our
weak rebounding it was inevitable for Lebron and co. to close us out in the 4th.

Even if Blake miraculously was traded, you can bet he'd be our big time free agent signing next off season!

Would've rather have seen Bayless trying to stop Mo Williams from getting the inbounds late in the game.
Bayless may have been able to force the inbounds to go to a lesser FT shooter.

From my vantage point at the game, I really don't think he was that bad.

He was horrendous in the first quarter, but really settled down at the end.

Miller, otoh, was not as good as his box indicates. He made some crucial turnovers at the end and was getting blown by on pretty much every possession. Both of these guys are bad defensively, but Blake at least tries.
