I really want the Wiz to keep Larry and Kwame of all people. I just don't think it is possible. Larry is developing into a great player and without a doubt he deserves a Max contract like Arenas. I say Larry needs at least if not more than Gilly's 6 year 68 million deal. . OTOH I can't see EG or AP giving up Larry..I just cannot see it. He and Areans make up the best and most exciting backcourt in the league and with Etan and Kwame I think that is championship caliber in about 1-2 years. Allowing either to walk would be crazy, but I don't know if the Wiz have enough money. I would hope they do, because resigning Kwame and then being over the Salary Cap they could still sign Larry if they have enough money, so at least the Salary Cap is not enforced since we;ll be resigning our own player. What do you guys think...IMO Larry is the must, and we can live without Kwame even though I think he will develop into a very good player.
Well Kwame has been injured all year, and he has looked good at times and bad at times. Hughes is going to want a lot of money, and I think he is expendable if Kwame comes back and makes a big impact. If Kwame comes back and is just average, let him walk and resign Hughes.
