I'm sure there will be others running for cover such as the actual owner of the building as well as building code officials of the city of Oakland...and of course, lawyers will lick their chops too. ...the fact is that this poor guy has to live with this for the rest of his life...I seriously doubt there's anything anyone can do to him that would be worse than this fact.
