as the french say...Ah GARONNTEE that the lakers will beat the Minnesota Timberwolves and advance to the NBA finals where they will win barring a freak accident. I cant stand the lakers so it kinda hurts to say this but I am SO certain that they will beat the wolves that im willing to entertain proposals for serious wagers. I was thinking something along the lines thast if the wolves win you guys can choose my avatar for a whole year. Even if kobe misses games to go to court it wont matter because we all know that the lakers fate rests ENTIRLEY on the shoulders of shaq and hes been playing the best ball hes played in years. If kobe misses time payton and malone are more than able to put up however many points theyll miss in his absence maybe even more efficiently so as to get shaq more shots as malone is a big man and more of a high percentage shooter. its sad, but this series and probably the finals are over before they begin. the wolves dont have a chance.
Im going with the Lakers here as well. Minnesota has never made it this far and I bet they are a little tired.

This postseason has probably been the worst of Shaq's career since the Lakers lost to the Spurs in the lockout season. Look at the stats, Kobe has led the way for the Lakers this postseason, not Shaq
Kobe has more points but no ones been able to stop shaq since halfway thru the spurs series. hes dominating games in more ways than the numbers show whereas kobe doesnt really don anything but stats. they will absolutly beat the wolvess
I'm sorta feeling daring, so I'll bet anyone that the Lakers will win this series. If you lose you'll use the sig for a month. I can also get someone to make it.

I think we could use someone to update this and someone to set a common set of rules. <font color="DarkRed"><font size="1">(unless someone else can suggest them)</font></font> There should be more continuity to the bets IMO, particularly since there is another series afterwards, which people might want to bet on and anything more than 2 weeks, makes that harder to do, without having your sig available to bet on. Just my opinion though.
i would like to bet right here.. right now.. with anyone.. and my bet is that the Minnesota Timberwolves are going on to the NBA Finals.. ill suffer any concequence if i am wrong. The timberwolves are going to win this series.. and when they do get there i would like you all to remember this post right here.. because you will be quoting it in the near future..
The Laker are too dominant a team to be taken lightly, so I don't understand why this thread was started.......if the guarantee wasn't for the TOTAL GAMES in which the Lakers will win the Western crown. I'm a T-Wolves fan and believe they actually have a chance if the cogs work. I only saw the highlights of the game, and it didn't look like the Wolves were outclassed. Alot of the shots I saw that the Lakers made were just "good shots". I think the series will go 4 - 2 Lakers.
With Minnesota's top PG injured with back spasms and Hudson still sitting with an injury I really doubt the Wolves will take this series. Mr. Point 4 will make huge shots during this series just like he did in game 1.
I'm not betting anything, but this series could go either way if you think about it. These are two well matched teams, and the one most significant difference is that LA has Shaq and Minnesota doesn't. So its not like the Lakers are gonna destroy the Wolves, because Wolves isn't a team you can just push around. My predicitions: Wolves in 7
