I hate our coach I hope he burns in hell thats how much I hate him, WHO IS WITH ME? THE FIRE SKILES CAMPAIGN IS STARTING, POST HERE TO JOIN IT.-His susbstitutions are pathetic, I could do better-His knowledge of coaching the whole game is horrible all he cares about is defense, this game is about offense and if you care about defense so much JOIN THE FREAKING NCAA!- He will play Tyrus and Thabo 20 minutes one game and the next 10 he plays them for a total of 7 minutes- He will NEVER get this team to the finals where they belong- He f*cking puts Malik FREAKING Allen and Chris Duhon (the worst players on the team) in when it should be Tyrus and Thabo.-Tyus didn't even get to the rookie challenge because he had so low minutes which is sad considering he was the 2nd pick in the draft (really).I need a break from the Bulls, once either Skiles is fired or he grows some balls and puts the better players in like Thabo and Tyrus in instead of the two worst players in the NBA Ill watch this team. Otherwise this team is so boring I'd rather read a book and I HATE reading
Yeah his subbing pisses me off. If you watched the last game agains the Sonics, the moment Tyrus came in the game the Bulls went on a run. Not that he did that much, but his presence and his ability to block and change shots is incredibull. It was disappointing that he didnt get in the rookie game because I wouldve like to see him and see what he can dohopefully they'll put him in the dunk contest
Um, chris duhon isnt the worst player on the team. The complaint you mainly have is not enough minutes for rookies. I honestly dont think they should fire skiles when he got them to the playoffs for the first time in awhile when he first got the job.
I have to agree with my homie KCX. Hes not that bad of a coach. Hes a good tough and defensive minded coach.
my worries is that eventually the players will get sick of his tough guy act and leave. The fact that he embarrasses a lot of his players in the media, like when eddy curry and chandler were on the team. Hes sort of calmed down with that now, hes starting to stand up for them. But I dunno, if I was a player I prolly wouldnt wanna play for him, seems like he takes the fun out of the game.
Why should coach have played Tyrus Thomas and Thabo? Are they that much better than Duhon and Allen? Not really. Both of those players are more experienced.
Why would they fire Skiles while his team is having a pretty good season ok maybe he doesn't sub right all the time but it seems to be working for the Bulls.
Yeah, plus defensive minded coaches are what you need in the NBA. If your team plays defense in the NBA, you'll win. (See in the knicks in the 90's with Riley and Van Gundy)

If you watch you notice Tyrus Thomas gives you MUCH more than either Duhon or Allen. For one, I can shoot better the Chris Duhon who at one point was 3-52 shooting and Malik Allen can't get a damn rebound because last I checked to get rebounds you have to jump. TNT (Tyrus and Thabo) make alot of turnovers but they sure as hell create something when there in there on defense and Thabo on offense because he sees the court well. Tyrus is putrid on offense unless he is 3 foot or less away from the basket but he atleast has the athletiscm to make a few shots every once in a while. Malik Allen is also a blackhole, if you give it to him in the post its never coming out. Its funny to because he can't shoot with his back to the basket so its a miss and then a fastbreak for the opponent. When Duhon or Allen go in the game we are so much slower we have no offense and no rebounding. Thomas and Thabo are two of the better rebounders at their respected positions for rookies this year. Playing them 7-10 mpg is a joke.Like I said earlier, Skiles will NEVER get us to the finals, he is a college coach and sooner or later his players will finally figure that out and turn against him. Defense in basketball doesn't win you championships, maybe 10 years ago but besides Detroit almost every single team (San Antonio, LA Lakers, Heat) were all great offensive teams. When your best scorer gets only 30 mpg and most from comming off the bench early means you have no offense.. I can't stand SkilesFIRE HIS ASS!!!!!
the reason thabo and tyrus should be playing is because they are this teams future. Duhon and Allen's time on this team wont be much longer. They are not gonna be big parts of this team in the future, so you might as well help these rookies come along faster by giving them some minutes.
I dont understand why Duhon can't be apart of the bulls' future. He's only like 24 years oldish and is an x-factor on the Chicago Bulls roster.
Because Thabo is a 6-7 guard capable of playing the point, SG, and SF. He allows us to take some pressure off of kirk and even gordon from guarding other teams big guards. When duhon is in with kirk or with Ben we are very undersized. Thabo gives you basically what Duhon gives you, but hes taller and more capable of going to the hoop. You'll prolly say kirk and ben are small to, Yeah they are but instead of subbing small for small, like gordon for duhon, you can change it up and sub small for big, like gordon for thabo. Maybe if Duhon was more of an offensive threat he would be a big part but he isnt. At most he should be what Pargo was for us a few years ago. A player who plays every now and then.

If offense won championships the last few years the Nets and Suns would be in the finals. The Mavericks didn't become contenders until Avery Johnson came in there and kicked their ass until they played defense. The San Antonio Spurs won championships because they played great defense, they were never a great offensive team, they were the leagues top rated defense. The Detroit Pistons won it because of defense even though they had a inconsistant offense. The Miami Heat last year were a pretty solid defensive team (Mourning, Payton, Wade, Haslem and Posey) and were just smarter and more experienced. I dont care what anyone says, defense still wins championships. Just because the Suns run around and score a lot doesn't mean the whole league is changing all the sudden. Stupidity...ugh...

They have no set plays for offense like the Lakers with there triangle offense, they just set screens and dribble and kick. When you have PJ Brown and Ben Wallace as your front court there isn't going to be a whole lot of scoring. Phoenix didn't lose because they had no defense, part of it was because when your a jump shooting team your going to end up shooting 45% on the year no matter how you slice it. When you get cold in the playoffs thats what kills you. When you have a low post threat your shooting % goes up and you get easier baskets.

Talented rookies like these guys need minutes in order to develop. I mean, Tyrus was a top 3 pick. They need to play him and give him experience if they want him to develop at a fast pace.
Really? I always like Scott Skiles. He was leading your team the last two season to the playoffs on pure energy and hustle. You guys weren't the most talented but you alwasy made noise and a lot of that was thanks to Skiles. But, hey, if you guys don't wasnt him, Indy will take him.
Nice sig by the way ^^ Im a Bears fan but you guys deserved that after our performance. I couldn't possibly hate Scott Skiles any more than I do now. We would just let you have him!
