Re: I got fantasy problems! Okay anyways this is a public league I joined, I started taking it seriousely 4 weeks in and went from 8/12 to first. Right after that Paul Pierce gets injured and so does Yao Ming, my two superstars. I thought I could still get by with them injured but it hasn't been working and now I'm losing to the second worst team in the league and have fallen down to 5th place. People aren't accepting trades involving them and I'm basically at a huge stand still. I already made a trade for Tracy McGrady but it's not enough to make me get through this league. Someone help please.
Re: I got fantasy problems! seems like your whole team relies on just two players which isn't good either since Yao won't be back anytime soon and Paul isn't going to be back till after the All-Star Break. If you really want to get someone to help your team you don't necessarily have to go for a superstar. Maybe you could try to trade for a josh howard who has been hot lately or even Danny Granger or Al Harrington. Granger is going to be a starter the rest of the year and he could by the end of the year average about 17 and 8 a game. And while Al Harrington is surrounded by loads of talent in Golden State he and Baron Davis are the top two scoring options and should finds way to get their points. Who all is on your roster?
Re: I got fantasy problems! my roster now with T-mac is PG- Rafer Alston SG- Manu Ginobli G- T-mac SF- Pierce PF- Antawn Jamison F- Cwebb C- Ming C- Pachulia Util- Crawford Util- Hinrich BN- Atkins BN- Dampier BN- Free Agent once T-mac's offer goes through (you have to wait till saturday for some reason) BTW, Pierce is back in one week.
Re: I got fantasy problems! you have a pretty good lineup it seems like hinrich and ginobili are both good but can be inconsistent at times. On your bench though Atkins isn't the player he was at the beginning of the year when he started and ever since Tony Barone came in as coach is hasn't really worked out for him. Pachulia has really been playing bad lately but cwebb is going to do good for you with the extended minutes he has. It looks like all you really need is 1 more decent center and guard. Maybe a stephen jackson or mikki moore
